Research

This is the page where I keep all my links to my research.

Here are some images I produced this summer, although the resolution is terrible:

A furry sphere, 199 texels, and a metallic sphere. This was the first image to show that many ( > 6 ) texels could be rendered, along with non-texel ojects.

This glowing head has 1607 texels. It's glowing because the texel parameters aren't quite right - the transparency and transmittance are way too high. Getting just the right combination of parameters is a major endeavor and has given me quite a headache for about 2 years.

This is the same head, with different parameters. As you can see, it doesn't cast a shadow. We think this is because of more parameter problems, but it could be something sinister in the program itself (although the algortithm itself is fine). Time will (hopefully) tell.

Same head, rotated a little more.
