This project is funded in part by the Graphics and Visualization Center and the National Science Foundation as a pilot project capable of being copied to other schools at different levels both lower and higher. It is a partial solution to access problems on the Navajo Nation caused by distance, infrastructure density, and economics. It targets some of the landfill and recycling problems endemic to the Los Angeles urban area.
It would not be possible without the generous support of numerous individuals who contribute time and expertise to logistics and organization.
