Swiss teams on Sunday will use ``delayed matching'' for the first session. The first two matches will be random draw; the third match will be based on the results of the first match, and the fourth match will be based on the results of the first two matches. The evening session will have 15-minute breaks for matching.

Unless noted otherwise, all flighted and stratified events are divided 500, 1000, 1000+. 199er Stratiflighted Pairs is: Flight A: 0-200, Flight B: 0-20, 20-50, 50-100

Continuous Pairs Events

Two separate events. Play in as many sessions in each event as you choose to. Overall awards based on an individual's two highest scores in a specific event. Different partners are permitted. Players must play in two sessions to be eligible to receive any gold points, including section tops.

Knockout Team Events

All Knockout events are bracketed by Master Points with random draw within each bracket. Handicapping will be used in any bracket where the ratio between the higest and lowest teams' average masterpoints exceeds 10 to 1 and there is at least a 750 point spread between them. If there's only one bracket, it will be handicapped. Maximum average masterpoint holding for a team for purpose of handicaps is 5000 points. All events are four sessions.

Bidding boxes will be used in all events.

Midchart conventions for which the ACBL supplies written defenses only may be used in the top bracket of knockout teams provided that no team in the bracket has an average masterpoint holding of less than 1500. For pair and KO events, Mid-chart allowed conventions for defenses over notrump openings or overcalls are allowed.

Smoking is permitted only outside the building (Pasadena law). Courtesy breaks provided.

Appropriate dress is required at all times, including cleanliness and shoes.

ACBL Policy on Zero Tolerance will be observed at all times.

Playing fees: All championship session, $8.50 per person/per session. All other games, $7.50 per person/per session. Youth players (25 years or under) $6.00 per person/session for all games.
